The Ferrari MODEL CLUB was there with his own stand.
Besides numerous scale Ferrari models, we had on display
two real Ferrari: Dino 246GTB, F355 Berlinetta



A scale model swap meet of
"scale models with racing numbers"
organized through the ADAC Southern Bavaria
has taken place on February 13, 2000
at München, Riedlerstraße 35, from 10.oo - 14.oo hrs.



The French scale model kit maker
Provence Moulage
has been sold but continues to use the same brand name.


Another Model Swap Meet "Auto 1:X"
has taken place on December 12, 1999
at the popular Racing Car Museum
(houses one of the rarest German Ferrari-Collections in scale 1:1)
Rosso Bianco at Aschaffenburg.

Mattel has purchased all rights until 2004 to produce consumer
articles with the Ferrari badge printed on. For all momentary
licensees this will soon end their collaboration with Ferrari.
Their contracts will be ending and then they have to contact Mattel!
Those who don't, will lose their right to produce Ferrari-articles
in future.
For many small model makers this may be their end!
What will happen e.g. with Tron, ABC Brianza, André Marie Ruf,
Faenza 43, Miniatures du Château, Feeling 43 or many others?
Bburago discontinues with Ferrari, but may finish stock until year 2000!
Bang still hopes for compromise - BBR goes ahead as in the past!
Mattel has not considered to making scale model kits.
Will small kit makers survive?
Who may built up the kits? - Is it only the buyer?
